You reach the top of the stairs, gasping for breath. An immense roar announces the arrival of the hideous 'Beast of Barnes Meadow'. Its fangs glint in the shaft of sunlight emerging through the tower's only window. In front of you the Ogre Ogrizovic lays bound.
You can see: A rock, A stick.

Pick up the rock and launch it at the beast.
Pick up the stick and pummel the beast with it.
Head back downstairs for the sword.
Ask the beast politely if he wouldn't mind terribly untying Mr Ogrizovic.
